GoodPlayer Privacy Policy
Updated October 2, 2026
This policy explains how GoodPlayer, provided by Wuhan TrustComputing IT Co., Ltd. (Hustmobile), handles information. It includes the Google Drive integration and diagnostics in GoodPlayer 12.01. Features and data processing differ in earlier versions.
Your media and connections
GoodPlayer plays media on your device and connects to servers or cloud services that you choose. Local files, playback preferences, playlists, download records, and saved connection settings are stored on your device. Files you download remain on your device until you delete them. Device backups and file sharing may include local app data, depending on your settings.
When you choose a network or cloud service, GoodPlayer communicates with that service to perform your requested actions. The service receives network information, such as your IP address, and the requests needed to provide its features. Authentication information may be stored locally so that you can reconnect. GoodPlayer uses the iOS Keychain through the Google Sign-In SDK to retain Google authorization credentials.
Google account and Drive data
Connecting Google Drive is optional. Google handles the Google account sign-in and consent screens; GoodPlayer does not receive your Google password. After you authorize access, the Google Sign-In SDK provides an account identifier, basic profile information such as your name and email address, and authorization tokens. GoodPlayer uses the account identifier and tokens to keep operations associated with the account you selected and access its Drive files.
GoodPlayer requests the Google Drive permission to view and manage files so that you can browse existing folders, view file names and metadata, stream or download selected media, and use the app's file-management actions, including deleting items. Deleting a Drive item can permanently remove it from Google Drive; the app asks you to confirm that action. Access occurs when you use these features.
Google Drive requests are sent from your device directly to Google. Streaming data is processed on your device; downloads and related file references are saved locally. GoodPlayer does not upload your Google Drive files or authorization tokens to a Hustmobile server. If you choose to export, share, or play a downloaded file through another app or device, the selected destination receives that file or media stream.
Google user data is used to provide these features. It is not sold, used for personalized advertising, or used to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models. Hustmobile does not provide human access to your Drive contents through this integration. Files that you deliberately send to support are handled to address your request.
GoodPlayer's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Analytics and crash diagnostics
GoodPlayer 12.01 uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand app use and diagnose failures. These services process app-instance or installation identifiers, app and device information, usage events, and crash diagnostics. This information is sent to Google and is available to Hustmobile through the service dashboards. GoodPlayer does not intentionally attach Google Drive file contents or OAuth tokens to analytics events or crash reports.
Diagnostics and analytics are retained according to the services' retention settings and policies for their operational purposes. Firebase states that Crashlytics retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems. See Firebase privacy and security information and Google's Privacy Policy for further details.
Website analytics
The hustmobile.com website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic, including pages viewed, referring sites, and browser and device information. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. This website measurement is separate from analytics and diagnostics within the GoodPlayer apps. See Google Analytics data collection information and Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Retention, removal, and your choices
You can sign out of Google Drive in GoodPlayer to remove its locally saved Google sign-in credentials. You can also revoke GoodPlayer's access in your Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized access but does not delete files you previously downloaded, playlist entries, or download history. Remove those local items separately in GoodPlayer. Copies in device backups or destinations you chose must be managed there.
Your files on Google Drive remain subject to Google's storage and retention controls. Signing out of GoodPlayer does not delete those files. Other connected services provide their own sign-out, revocation, and deletion controls.
We use this information to provide the requested functions, maintain reliability, and respond to support or privacy requests. We may disclose information when required by applicable law. Service providers process information under their own terms and applicable data-processing arrangements, and may process it in countries other than yours.
